Earthquake jolts Azerbaijan's north

Earthquake occurred in Khachmaz region of Azerbaijan, the Republican Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences said on Thursday.

According to the report, the tremors were registered in Khachmaz region, 20 kilometers to the east from Quba region at 14:19 on October 10.

The earthquake measuring 3 was felt at the epicenter. There were no destructions.

Khachmaz city is located in the north of Azerbaijan, 157 km from Baku.
