The cost of living for one person in the accommodations for tourists in Azerbaijan declined by 10-20 percent compared to last year.
It is evidenced by the results of monitoring conducted by the ministries of culture and tourism and economic development in regions that were published on Wednesday.
"There are accommodations in the regions, which meet the level of solvency of all segments of the population," a statement said.
Monitoring were launched on June 11 and were held for three weeks in 137 hotels and hotel-type facilities in the cities of Ganja, Naphthalene, Mingachevir, Sheki, Lankaran, Gadabay, Balaken, Zagatala, Gakh, Gabala, Ismayilli, Shamakhi, Khachmaz, Gusar, Guba, Lerik , Masalli regions.
"The number of additional services provided to tourists in hotels and facilities for recreation has grown by 20-25 percent and range of tourist services in the regions of the country increased by 10-15 percent compared to last year," the statement said.
In general, the monitoring group noted positive developments in the field of tourism services in the regions of Azerbaijan.
