
Azerbaijani minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov and his accompanied delegation participated in the fourth forum of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA) in Chinese city Dalian, June 25-28.
The event brought together more than 300 representatives from 80 countries, including heads of judicial and prosecutor offices.
Mammadov stressed significance of international cooperation in anticorruption sphere and proposed to improve coordination on returning incomes embezzled through the corruption. The members of Azerbaijani delegation told of anti-corruption experience of Azerbaijan.
Azeri minister met also with Chinese prosecutor general to discuss further development of bilateral relations between the law-enforcement bodies of two states.
The Chinese prosecutor general praised support and contribution of Azerbaijan to IAACA. Meetings with heads of the law-enforcement structures of other countries were also held.
Azerbaijani ambassador to China Latif Gandilov was present at the event.
Azerbaijan actively participates in International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA) uniting more than 140 states. Azerbaijani justice minister is Vice-president of the structure.
