The Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan intends to include new languages in the curriculum of secondary schools. Education Minister Misir Mardanov informs that today Azerbaijani schools teach Russian, English and German as foreign languages.
"Starting from this year we intend to include in the curriculum such languages as Japanese and Italian. At that, we try to introduce the Italian language as a second language in some schools. It is also planned to expand the program of organization of intensive teaching of English and Russian languages in some schools, as it was launched several years ago," he emphasized./abc.az/
