Campaign called “20 facts we do not know about ADR”hed by IRELI - PHOTOS

The Ireli public union is to hold a series of events on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of Azerbaijan People’s Republic.

Unknown facts about ADR founders and their activities will be distributed in social networks.
The book speaks about the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR) which was the first successful attempt to establish a democratic and secular republic in the East. The ADR was founded on December, 1918. The Representatives of Russian, Jewish as well as Armenian minorities gained seats in the parliament.

Another important accomplishment of ADR was the establishment of Baku State University.
Booklets containing information about ADR will be distributed in the busy streets on 28 May.
Campaign will continue until 30 May.
