'Azerbaijani products are ecologically clean'

 ‘We are against the import of the Genetically Modified foods (GMO foods) to Azerbaijan. Both the Ministry of Agriculture and other relevant ministries do not allow the import of such products to the country’, Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abasov said.

The minister noted that those, who brought such products to the country and put into the market, commit an error. To him, Azerbaijani products are ecologically clean, because less fertilizer is used during the production process.
