Fog delays arrival of Tbilisi-Baku flight - UPDATE

Tbilisi-Baku flight carried out by CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines delays to arrive in Baku because of the fog, the Heydar Aliyev International Airport told Trend on Saturday.

According to the report, the aircraft, which was supposed to arrive in the capital at 03:10 local time, is still in Tbilisi and time of its departure is unknown.

Yesterday, Istanbul-Baku flight of the Turkish Airlines, which was supposed to arrive at 19:45 Baku time, was also cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. According to the report, the flight will be carried out today. According to preliminary data, the aircraft should depart from Istanbul at 11:00 Baku time.

No problem is observed in other flights.

Despite thick fog observed in Baku, the Heydar Aliyev International Airport operates normally, CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines told Trend on Saturday.

Dispatch and receipt of aircrafts are carried out in accordance with the schedule. It will be partly cloudy in Baku and Absheron Peninsula on April 7, without precipitation, fog, the southern wind is expected in some places in the morning and evening.
