Georgia seeks to develop tourism

20 December 2011 [13:09] - TODAY.AZ
he prices should be reduced to develop tourism in Kobuleti, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said during the survey of a family hotel in Kobuleti. During the talks with Amiran Verulidze Saakashvili it was clarified Kobuleti had few tourists this year.

"Prices in Kobuleti are expensive enough to meet the necessary requirements," the  Georgian President noted. Decrease in inflow of tourists in Kobuleti is caused by the development of Batumi, and on this background Kobuleti must be improved.

"So far, Batumi has been our major plan, but we should focus on Kobuliti's development," he said. The Georgian President underscored Kobuleti's water supply and sanitation system has been improved. Now roads are under building, but later boulevard and facades will be improved.

Afterwards, a good advertising campaign should be done, Saakashvili said once again stressing the need to reduce prices. Georgian President opened a six-kilometer cycle track in Kobuleti.
