Georgia to open embassies in Mexico and Brazil

The Georgian government recently decided to open embassies in Mexico and Brazil, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze told the press.

"We are paying special attention to intensifying relations with Central and South America," she said.

Kalandadze stressed that the agreement on simplifying the visa regime between Georgia and Brazil is a contributing factor to these countries’ developments. The agreement was recently signed by Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze.
