PJAK, PKK one terrorist group with two names: Turkish Deputy PM

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bashir Atalay said PJAK and PKK are one terrorist group with two names, ISNA reported.

Iranian ambassador to Ankara Bahman Hosseinpour met with Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bashir Atalay and discussed mutual cooperation in different fields.

Hosseinpour stressed the necessity of endeavor of different sections of both countries including the public sectors and the non-government organizations to broaden mutual ties.

He said the security of Turkey is the security of Iran and security of Iran is security of Turkey.

He referred to the positive results of mutual cooperation over terrorism and stressed further efforts over the matter.

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister for Internal and Security Affairs Bashir Atalay on his part stressed the importance of the two countries’ position in the region and added the cooperation between the two countries on regional issues and establishment of peace and stability is necessary.

He expressed satisfaction over the operations lunched by the two countries regarding terrorism and stressed that different terrorist groups including PJAK and PKK are not separate groups ,they are just different branches of one big terrorist source whose objective is to hinder the progress of regional countries.

Atalay hailed bilateral cooperation in different fields and stressed Turkish officials’ will for further mutual ties.

He also expressed satisfaction over the volume of mutual trade exchanges which will exceed 15 billion dollar in 2011.
