Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to leave for Somalia, on August 18

Prime Minister Erdogan will be accompanied on his visit by his spouse Emine Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, TRT reports.

Turkey expends intense efforts to draw attention of the international community to drought and famine stricken Somalia and increase the amount of aid extended.

Turkey that has provided significant support for aid campaigns and fight against the disaster, wants to keep the issue on the agenda with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his family's visit.

Prime Minister Erdogan, his spouse Emine Erdogan, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and his spouse Sare Davutoglu will leave for Somalia on August 18.
