Eight spies arrested in Iranian Bushehr city

Eight sailors have been arrested over the last two years in Bushehr, an Iranian city, for espionage. A criminal case has been opened against them and an investigation is underway, Iranian FARS news agency quotes the country’s Bushehr Province’s Prosecutor Heydar Bohrani as saying.

Bohrani said that the investigation provided evidence of the sailors’ guilt. Furthermore, he said that the court has already announced a verdict on five of the eight accused individuals. The criminal case against the remaining three is pending.
