11 June 2011 [12:11] - TODAY.AZ
Iran has arrested a person suspected of spying for the United States, asriran.com. website quotes Iranian Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi, as saying.

Moslehi said Iranian authorities accuse the detainee, who arrived in Iran from a neighboring country, of attempting to organize riots before the parliamentary elections via Internet resources.

He added that according to the available information, millions of dollars have been allocated for undermining activities.

In late May, Moslehi announced about arrest of 30 spies working for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency.

He said 30 out of 35 members of the spy network of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) were arrested in Iran, while 5 members were arrested in other countries.

"Members of the arrested spy network mainly spied on nuclear facilities, oil and gas sector, energy and software," Moslehi underscored.
