President Ahmadinejad: Government seeks to create 2.5m jobs

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday gave an upbeat report on economic achievements the government made last year, IRNA reported.

The President said that the government will proceed with implementing economic development and the infrastructural projects in the new year.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in a press conference here on Monday that creating 2.5 million jobs and increasing exports by 40% are the main targets of the government in the current Iranian calendar year.

The President said that the government will continue with implementing the law initiated last year to remove subsidies.
