Turkish Premier Erdogan meets Syrian President al-Assad

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Aleppo on Sunday.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Syrian Prime Minister Naji al-Utri also participated in the meeting. A ground-breaking ceremony for Friendship Dam to be constructed by Turkey and Syria on River Asi took place in southern province of Hatay.
