Military helicopter crashes in Turkey, 5 men dead

A Turkish military helicopter has crashed near the capital, Ankara, while on a night vision training flight, killing all the five officers on board, APA reports quoting Press TV.

The wreckage of the UH-1 helicopter was found near Ankara’s Tuluntas village, Turkey’s Yenisafak newspaper reported. The cause of the crash has not been established yet.

Another helicopter of the same type had crashed in Izmit in northwestern Turkey on April 10, 2006. An investigation is underway into the incident.
