Iran's N-talks in Turkey may begin on Jan 20: EU

08 January 2011 [10:30] - TODAY.AZ
Three-day talks on nuclear program of Iran with 5+1 group in Istanbul may begin on January 20.
The talks will be held between Iran and five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany (5+1 group) in Istanbul and will last for three days.

EU High representative Catherine Ashton's spokesperson Maja Kocijancic said on Friday that although it was not certain, the talks might begin on January 20 --the date which Iran was positive too.

EU sources said that the negotiations were envisaged to begin with a dinner on January 20 and continue till January 22 in the morning.

Iran's negotiations on its nuclear program with the U.S., Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany were earlier suspended upon UN Security Council's decision for an additional sanction, and then resumed in Geneva in December, 2010.
