First Media Forum of Turkic-speaking countries starts in Turkey

The first Media Forum of Turkic-speaking countries was launched on Tuesday in Ankara, Anadolu news agency reported.
The opening ceremony of the forum was attended by the Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc.

The two-day forum brought together leaders and representatives of major media outlets from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Northern Cyprus, to discuss media's role promoting good relations among the Turkic-speaking countries, CA-News said.

The Forum was organized by the Main Department of Press and Information and the Center for Strategic Studies of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
