Georgian-Slovak business forum was held in Tbilisi on March 17.
Minister of Economic Development of Georgia Zurab Pololikashvili and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovakia Miroslav Lajčák opened the forum, which was dedicated to the intensification of cooperation in the economic sphere between the two countries.
Georgian Minister told reporters that the Slovak business sector is interested in making investments in Georgia's agricultural sector, tourism and construction business.
He said the meetings with Georgian and Slovak businesspersons were scheduled within the visiut of the Slovak delegation later today and the agreements reached between the sides would be reported afterwards.
Pololikashvili said cooperation between Georgian and Slovak business sectors was very important, because the Republic of Slovakia was the member of the European Union.
In his comments with reporters, the Slovak Foreign Minister said that Slovakia supported Georgia's territorial integrity, and its aspiration to join the European Union and the NATO.
