Ukrainian Speaker: Georgia-Ukraine relations to develop further

Volodymyr Litvin, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada [Ukrainian Parliament], is sure that relations of Ukraine with Georgia and other countries will develop further.
The announcement came after the meeting with Georgian counterpart David Bakradze in Kyiv.

Litvin said he saw no causes for deterioration of relations between the countries.

Yet he mentioned of two aspects that impacted relations between the countries: investigation of arms trade between the countries [Party of Regions claimed the illegal trade takes place] and issue of international monitors at the presidential elections.

Litvin highlighted he was aware of own examination in Georgia in this regard.

He noted that cooperation must be continued, as "politicians will change, but countries and peoples are for ever."
