Iran suggested to launch diplomatic offensive against Israel

The former director general of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt General (Retd) Hameed Gul stressed upon the Muslim community to sink their differences and unite against the enemies of Islam.

“(The) situation is alarming and Israel could strike Iran in (the) future”, he viewed.

Hameed Gul said that Iran should start diplomatic offensives with Islamic countries especially with Arab block to stop Israel from implementing its evil designs against Iran.

“Iran should get prepared for war but no country in the world can fight in isolation so Iran should develop a strong relationship with all the Islamic countries”, he added.

He said that Israel is the enemy of Islam and (has) always (been) hatching conspiracies against (the) Muslim Ummah.

“Look how (a) Hamas leader was openly killed by Israel”, he said.
Hameed Gul was of the opinion that Iran should not take the threats of Israel lightly as Israel is a blackmailer.

Earlier Israeli officials had threatened Iran with 'heavy' measures after reports of the US augmentation of forces off Iran's coast.

Iran is a signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and has opened its enrichment plants to UN inspection.

“How can Shimon Peres point (a) finger at Iran’s nuclear program as according to my knowledge Israel has 450 nuclear warheads”, he added.

The former spy chief expressing his views said that the problem with Israel is that it cannot see Iran attaining the status of a nuclear power as a country that has not recognized the illegitimacy of the state of Israel.

Lt General Gul believed that the US-Israel nexus is very dangerous for the Islamic world and the Muslim countries should unite against enemies of Islam.

Gul opined that if the US or Israel attacked Iran then it would be a great mistake that would place the whole area under a disastrous configuration. “A large scale war could be triggered in such (a) situation”, he added.

Hameed Gul opined that Israel has ulterior motives against Iran and that is why it has been is pressurizing US to strike Iran.

He made it clear that diplomacy is the only way to solve the problems and Iran should immediately start a dialogue with Arab world to devise a strategy against Israeli designs.

He said that Israel had always followed the policy of aggression that was backed by the western countries and particulalry by the United States.

“I strongly believe that Ulema and Intellectuals of (the) Islamic world should sit together to counter (the) Israeli propaganda (the) against Islamic world especially (those against) Iran”, said Hameed Gul.

The former spy chief stated that Pakistan has very strong relationship with Iran and would always help Iran in difficult times.

He added that Israeli is a state created on the land of Palestine with a purpose to create a permanent tension between the Jews and the Muslims.

He added it is the duty of all Muslims to get back the control of Al-Quds from the Zionists.

He was of the view that the Muslim Ummah must express unity and determination that is the only way to deter the aggression of Israel and mere statements won’t do anything.
