Lebanese FM meets with Armenian ambassador

Lebanese Foreign Minister Ali Shami met with Armenian Ambassador Ashot Kocharyan on Feb. 19.
The sides discussed bilateral relations.

The press service of the Lebanese Foreign Ministry said that Minister Shami reaffirmed official Beirut’s position on Armenia and Azerbaijan, as Lebanon has friendly relations with both the states.

He also stressed that Lebanon supports international efforts to settle the conflicts in the conflicting parties’ interests.
