Armenian peacekeepers arrive in Afghanistan

On Feb. 14, forty Armenian peacekeepers arrived in the city of Kunduz (Afghanistan) to exercise the peacekeeping mission within the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).

Peacekeepers will provide security of the Kunduz city airport together with German servicemen, Armenian Defense Ministry press office said.

Armenian troops arrived in Afghanistan after 4-week training in Germany.

Armenian contingent includes 36 infantrymen, 3 officers and a medical officer.
