Consumer and producer prices in Turkey were up in January 2010, country's statistics authority said Wednesday.
The Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) announced that consumer prices were up 1.85 percent, and producer prices were up 0.58 percent last month.
The annual inflation as of January rose to 8.19 percent in consumer prices, while it stood at 6.30 percent in producer prices.
According to 12-month averages, the annual inflation was 6.16 percent in consumer prices and it was 1.14 percent in producer prices.
