Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says current regional and global developments are in "the interest of independent and justice-seeking countries."
There exists the tendency in the region for regional states to help establish peace and security through cooperation, Ahmadinejad said in a meeting with former Armenian president Robert Kocharian in Tehran on Tuesday.
He added that those who had plotted against Iran are now more fragile than ever.
Ahmadinejad and ex-Armenian president also discussed bilateral and regional issues.
Kocharian for his part, said that the two neighboring states had huge potentials for the expansion of ties.
Kocharian also met with Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki early on Thursday.
