Lebanon seeks electricity from Turkey

Lebanon demanded electricity energy from Turkish Electricity Trading & Contracting Company.
Lebanon demanded electricity energy from Turkish Electricity Trading & Contracting Company (TETAS).

Lebanon wanted 250 megawatts of electricity energy which means nearly 1,000,250,000 kilowatt/hour of electricity trade for a year.

Turkey does not have a direct electricity transmission line to Lebanon, but if technical facilities are available, Turkey can transmit the electricity via Syria.

Turkey-Syria electricity line has 500 megawatt capacity
