China improve system of maintaining national security

China plans to improve the system of maintaining national security in order to ensure the long-term stability of the country, Azernews reports.

This is stated in the communique adopted following the results of the 3rd plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China of the 20th convocation.

"It is necessary to fully implement the general concept of national security, improve the system and mechanisms for maintaining national security, achieve positive interaction of high-quality [economic] development and [ensuring] a high level of security, effectively ensure long-term order and stability in the country," the document says.
