U.S. allows more medicament to be exported to Iran

The U.S Ministry of Finance expanded the list of medicaments and equipment which are allowed to be exported to Iran to meet humanitarian needs of this country, the Xinhua agency reported today.

According to the agency's statement, the list of medicaments and equipment, which can be exported or re-exported to Iran, without preliminary permission of the U.S Ministry of Finance, was expanded in accordance to the licenses issued in October, 2012.

The Ministry also noted that despite the persistence of sanctions against Iran, the U.S attempts to meet the republic's humanitarian needs.
