Birds not to draw near new Turkish airports

The special bird radar systems will be installed at the new Turkish airports, Anadolu agency said on Friday.

According to the agency, the radars will be used to scare birds. These radars will be manufactured domestically.

The third airport is planned to be constructed in Istanbul in 2017, the same year the airport will be put into operation.

The third airport in Istanbul will be built on an area near Lake Terkos in the north of the city.

The transportation capacity will hit 150 million passengers a year.
