Saakashvili: 'I have enough car registered for presidential administration and I can steer myself'

Georgian President categorically refuses the protection granted by the Special State Protection Service. As Mikheil Saakashvili stated at the Tbilisi airport on his return from Azerbaijan, he does not need protection after he was accused that he spends millions on their security.

Saakashvili said to journalists on 30 vehicles protection and said that he does not need "this cheap PR." "I have enough car, which is registered for the presidential administration and I can steer myself," he said.

Saakashvili said that it is his right and the decision as an ordinary citizen and person. "I get around very well and do not need protection. Paraphrase, I would say that may God have mercy on my guard, and I'll be protected from the enemies myself," - he stressed.

The President took the car again and headed to the presidential palace.
