The President of Georgia is ready to take part in political debates after his annual speech in parliament, minority MP David Bakradze told reporters on Wednesday.
According to him, Saakashvili will present his annual report to Parliament in the first week of the spring session, respond to questions and participate in debates.
"This willingness on the part of the president does exist. All the remaining 'Whats' and 'Hows' depend on the decision of the Bureau of the Parliament. We are ready to start consultations with the majority next week and agree on the President's speech and debate format," Bakradze said.
President's speech is scheduled for February 6.
