Kidnapped Turkish MP to be released

Turkish MP from the opposition Republican People's Party Huseyin Aygun kidnapped by the militants of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) on the eve will be released today, spokesman of Republican People's Party said, the newspaper Sabah reported.

Militants of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) on Sunday kidnapped a member of the Turkish Parliament from Tunceli province Huseyin Aygun.

According to the statement of the province's governor, around 5:00 pm local time the car in which Aygun was traveling was stopped by gunmen outside the town of Ovacik. The MP was pulled out of the car and driven away.

Together with the politician his spokesman and a correspondent of the newspaper Aksam were abducted, but both were later released.
