Ukrainian climbers go missing in Georgian mountains

Georgian rescuers are searching for two Ukrainian climbers who fell into a gorge in the mountains.

Four Ukrainian climbers from Kiev made the ascent of Ushba from July 13, Rustavi 2 said on Wednesday.

According to one of the climbers Victor Taranik, after the conquest of the height they were going down, when the rope of Sasha Taranik and Dima Voloshin broke at 3600 meters. The climbers fell into the gorge and are out of sight of their comrades, who called rescuers and search for missing friends.

There is still no information about the fate of missing climbers, but by the preliminary version, they may have died.

Rescuers are searching for the missing.
