28 June 2012 [12:43] - TODAY.AZ
The tenth plenary meeting of Georgia and the European Union in connection with an association agreement will be held in Brussels.

Most of the text of the association agreement between the parties has been already agreed, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania said.

The Georgian delegation in Brussels will be headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Tornike Gordadze.

"Dialogue is successfully underway, the agreement will move relations between Georgia and the EU into a new phase in terms of political inclusion and economic cooperation," David Jalagania said.

The association agreement with the European Union is an agreement between the EU and a non-EU member, which creates a framework for cooperation between the parties. Spheres of cooperation generally affect the development of political, trade, social, cultural relations and strengthening of security.
