Three servicemen killed in Turkey

On Monday, during an operation against militants from the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party in the Turkish Diyarbakir area, three servicemen were blown up by a mine and killed, CNN Turk reports. The operation in Diyarbakir continues.

The conflict between Turkey and the PKK, which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state, has lasted for more than 25 years. The PKK group is labelled a terrorist organisation by the UN and the European Union.
