'Tehran - Ankara ties are close'

Iran and Turkey can play leading roles in the ideological development of the Muslim world, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said during a round-table discussion on civilization dialogue between Iran and Turkey on Wednesday, Mehr reported.

He said that the relations between Tehran and Ankara are close and despite some differences of opinion, the two countries have common views on many regional and international issues.
