Turkish police on Tuesday detained 46 people in probes into the Kurdish Communities Union, a political umbrella organization that includes the banned Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK), local Daily Hurriyet reported.
The operations took place in 25 locations around the country. Security forces also searched the pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party's (BDP) buildings in several provinces, Xinhua reported.
The detained included BDP's provincial leaders Fatma Izol, Mehmet Halis Aktas and Ibrahim Ogur.
According to the report, a new wave of raids was also launched, during which security forces conducted searches in six cities in the country.
