Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has expressed optimism about the upcoming multilateral talks in Istanbul about Iran's nuclear energy program, predicting they will result in “good news”.
“At the end of the Saturday meeting between Iran and members of the P5+1 group, we will have good news,” Davutoglu told the Iranian Arabic-language news channel Al-Alam late on Friday.
The minister made the remarks after a meeting with Saeed Jalili, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council. The Iranian delegation, headed by Jalili, arrived in the Turkish city of Istanbul Friday morning.
