'Turkey is open to foreign investments'

Turkey is open to foreign investments and is doing everything to create prosperous environment for foreign investors, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said during his speech at the Turkish-Chinese Business Forum in Beijing, TRT Haber TV channel reported on Tuesday.

"Turkey always welcomes foreign investments and supports their growth," Erdogan said.

He also said that the country has made some changes to the tax system, and will continue to work to improve it in order to attract more foreign investors.

Prime Minister Erdogan started his visit to China yesterday. The countries discussed cooperation in many spheres. Beijing and Ankara have signed an agreement on peaceful use of nuclear energy.
