Iranian Defence Minister Ahmad Vahidi said launching a missile defense shield among Persian Gulf's Arab neighbours against Iran is a American plan and Iran advices friend countries to avoid it, Fars News Agency reported.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Saturday in Saudia Arabia that The U.S will work with Gulf Arab nations to strengthen their shared defenses against threats including Iran, Reuters reported.
Hillary Clinton launched about plans for a Gulf missile shield against Iran and ways to press Tehran's ally Syria to stop killing Syrians.
"The commitment of the United States to the people and the nations of the Gulf is rock-solid and unwavering. Our strong bilateral relationships are a rock of stability in the region," Clinton said in prepared remarks delivered in the inaugural meeting of a new U.S.-Gulf security forum.
Launching Missile shield in Persian Gulf is against regional security and Iran has already rejected that, Vahidi noted.
