Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said that Regional countries' position on Syria is a sign of friendship to Israel, Mehr News Agency reported.
"We consider statements about strike over Syria slanged by regional countries as friendly approach to Israel, and not as a helping hand to Syrians," he said.
Vahidi added that some regional countries don't support reformist actions in Syria, but they are keen to launch a civil war by supporting "terrorist groups in Syria".
According to Vahidi, the West wants insecurity in the region, while Iran urges friendly countries not to fall into the trap of the West.
After their meeting in Istanbul on Sunday, the "Friends of Syria" said President Bashar al-Assad did not have an open-ended opportunity to meet his commitments to Kofi Annan, who is seeking a ceasefire, troop withdrawals from cities and access for humanitarian aid, Reuters reported.
Western and Arab nations warned Assad not to delay adopting a plan to end a year of bloodshed in Syria and called on peace envoy Annan to set a timetable for action if the violence continues.
