Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze discussed issues of integration into the EU and NATO with the foreign ministers of Poland and the Czech Republic on a visit to Prague. As the Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend, Vashadze also held informal talks with foreign ministers of the Visegrad countries, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and the Eastern Partnership.

Vashadze discussed the topical issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries with his Czech counterpart Karel Schwarzenberg.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that 'special attention' was paid to Georgia's integration into European and Euro-Atlantic organisations and achieved success in this direction. The Czech minister supported Georgia's aspirations to European integration.

It has also become the main issue at Vashadze's meeting with his Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski.

"Both sides discussed the priority directions of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries. The Polish minister reiterated his country's support for Georgia in its integration into the European and Euro-Atlantic organisations," Georgian Foreign Ministry said.

The meeting also discussed activities associated with the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Georgia and Poland.
