Azerbaijani president adopts law on execution of 2010- state budget

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev approved the law ‘On execution of the 2010-state budget’, the official press reported on Thursday.

The 2010-state budget revenue amounted to 11.403 billion manat. Budget expenditure amounted to 11.765 billion manat. Budget deficit amounted to 362.889 million manat.

In this period, the budget revenues from VAT were 2.082.5 billion manat, profit tax - 1.429.9 billion manat, income tax - 590.2 million manat, excise tax - 514.9 million manat, property tax - 101.8 million manat , tax on mineral resources - 130.07 million manat, simplified tax - 65,5 million manat, road tax - 24.8 million manat, land tax - 35.3 million manat. Receipts from State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) amounted to 5.915 billion manat.

The state budget allocated 1.123 billion manat for social security and protection of the population, 1.180.79 billion manat - education, 429.16 million manat - health, 668.5 million manat - maintenance of the prosecution, security, law enforcement and judicial authorities, 199.9 million manat - housing costs, 372.1 million manat - agriculture, forestry and fishery, 55.1 million manat - transport and communications, industry and 4 146.9 million manat - construction and minerals.

The residue formed on a single treasury account as of late 2010 as a result of the execution of the 2010-state budget will be directed to financing the 2011-budget deficit and the expenses appeared due to repayment government debt.
