Azerbaijani Prime Minister meets Cuban FM

Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade met the Cuban delegation led by Foreign Minister Bruno Eduardo Rodriguez Parrilla on Thursday.

The Azeri PM expressed satisfaction with development of relations between the countries. Mr. Rasizade praised mutual cooperation in the field of politics.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of expanding economic and cultural relations. Mr. Rasizade said the Azerbaijani government was interested in boosting relations with Cuba in all fields. The Azeri PM praised the activity of the Azerbaijan-Cuba intergovernmental commission. Mr. Parrilla conveyed the Cuban President`s best regards to the Prime Minister.

The Foreign Minister expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan, where he had an opportunity to familiarize himself with the country. Mr. Parrilla underlined the Cuban government would spare no efforts to contribute to developing relations between the countries in various fields.

They also exchanged views on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
