Turkey, Azerbaijan discuss cooperation among municipalities

Visiting Turkey Head of the Association of Azerbaijan City Municipalities and Sumgayit city municipality, Abulfaz Babayev met Turkish colleagues to discuss prospects for cooperation between municipalities of the two countries.

In the meeting with chairman of Ankara`s Kechioren municipality Mustafa Ak, the two signed a protocol on cooperation between Sumgait municipality and Ankara`s Kechioren municipality. The decision to open the “Azerbaijan square” in Kecioren was made at the meeting also attended by TURKSAM chairman Sinan Ogan and Diaspora representatives.

Sumgayit city municipality`s head also discussed cooperation with chairman of Sharaflikochhisar municipality Hakverdi Altug. The chairman of Turkish municipality said he was always ready to share their “rich” experience with Azerbaijani colleagues.
