Azerbaijani human rights activist appeals to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

In his letter, Behbudov expressed his concern over the torture and inhuman treatment of the Iranian Azerbaijanis in the prisons in Iran.

“We express our strict objection. We can not turn a bling eye to torture towards Azerbaijanis,” he said.

Elchin Behbudov asked President of Iran to give him permission to monitor several prisons, where the Azerbaijanis are held, and meet with them.
