Indian specialists will take part in the restoration and reconstruction of the Ateshgah temple (Atesgah Mebedi) in Azerbaijan.

Indian specialists will get familiarized with the project of restoration and will arrive in Azerbaijan to implement the project, the Indian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Debnat Shaw told journalists.

The Fire Temple Ateshgah is located 30 kilometers from Baku's center, on the southeastern outskirts of the Surakhani village on the Absheron Peninsula. Current Ateshgah was built in the 17th -18th century in place of "eternal" fires. It was built by the Hindu community residing in Baku, most of whose members came from North India.
