
Turkmenistan’s newly-appointed ambassador Toyly Komekov arrived in Baku to take his office. According to APA, he will officially take the office after presentation of his credentials to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Komekov was appointed as the ambassador to Azerbaijan by the order of Turkmenistan’s President Kurbankuli Berdimuhammedov. Before his appointment, he served as the chairman of the state organization on the Caspian issues under the President of Turkmenistan. He represented his country in the meetings on the Caspian legal status and security and visited Baku many times.
