Day of workers of diplomatic service of Ukraine marked in Azerbaijan

A day of workers of diplomatic service of Ukraine was celebrated in Baku. Ukraine`s charge d'affaires Miroslav Blashuk told of history of the diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

On April 10 2010, Presidents of Azerbaijan and Ukraine unveiled a memorial plague on the building, where Ukraine`s diplomatic mission was located in 1919. A basis of the bronze plague is state symbols – emblems of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and Ukraine People`s Republic.
