Plenum of the Azerbaijan Constitutional Court held regular session

Regular open judicial session of Plenum of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan Republic chaired by Farhad Abdullayev took place yesterday.
At session on the basis of inquiry of Ombudswoman of the Azerbaijan Republic dated July 30, 2010 the constitutional case concerning check of conformity of the Article 53.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses to Articles 25, 71, 79, 147, to parts I and III of the article 149 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic has been considered.

Having heard the report of Judge S. Hasanova on the case, statements of representatives of requesting and responsible bodies, experts, the statement of expert, having discussed the case materials, Plenum of the Constitutional Court adopted relevant decision.

The Plenum recommended to the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic to make appropriate amendments in the Code of Administrative Offenses.
